History
Joli-Coeur, Lacasse, Geoffrion, Jetté, St-Pierre's history is rich in accomplishments and we are proud to count many distinguished legal figures among past and present members of our firm.

The firm was originally founded in 1983 by five partners who joined forces and opened an office on Chemin St-Louis. Shortly thereafter, in 1985, 15 more lawyers were added to the ranks and in 1988 we opened another office in Trois-Rivières. A few years later, Messrs. Normand and St-Pierre joined the group and continued expansion made it necessary to relocate our Québec City office to Place de la Cité. In 1994 the firm merged with the Lemieux, Routhier, Gagnon, Beaupré group, gaining wide experience in the process. The firm then numbered over 50 lawyers.

During the last half of the 1990's, we became a member of the Pannone Law Group, thereby gaining access to an extensive network of 750 legal practitioners based in the major capital cities of Europe and Brazil.

In 1998, tight working quarters again prompted us to look for additional space and we moved to the Joli-Coeur Lacasse building on Chemin St-Louis. Shortly before, our partners in Trois-Rivières had also relocated their offices to the city's business district to give the firm a better opportunity for expansion and to become more involved in the business community.

The year 2000 also brought its share of excitement when we merged with the Geoffrion, Jeté group of Montréal, a firm that has enjoyed wide recognition in its field of expertise since 1983. These skilled professionals harmoniously completed the range of services Joli-Coeur Lacasse was able to offer. Once again, limited working space dictated a move to McGill College Street in the heart of Montréal's business district.

Joli-Coeur, Lacasse, Geoffrion, Jetté, St-Pierre, a group of entrepreneurial lawyers, is continually moving forward to provide its clients with a wider scope of expert professional services, and this is by no means the end of the story...
